Today I woke up and looked at some open calls, I found a really crazy one that made me really enthousiastic to apply and started writing on that. I also edited some video and then got ready to have a cofee w Lydia. We ended up talking all afternoon and going to a beautiful viewpoint and she joined me to my place. We gossiped a bit, talked about our fundamental positions in life and art, joked around and overall just had a great time hanging out. We also expressed very directly how much we appreciate each other. She is really a fantastic person, I strongly feel she will be my friend forever. A rare feeling! I ate a good meal and then went to the oneohtrix point never concert. It was kind of amazing and overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. It was great, and the sentiment the music expresses really is profound to me. It is such a genuine acknowledgement and celebration of the fact that everything is made of little pieces that shake and vibrate. And I feel that! but it was also a bit underwhelming, too. between the smoke, lights, animated figures and videos of videos it was trying quite hard. Great concert though. During the concert I saw someone cry and his tear(s) fell on his phone and it stopped working, I thought it was funny he stopped crying after that.
